Our Story
Since 2005, we have assisted individuals seeking legal representation whose ability to find reputable California lawyersis often hindered by unreliable law firm marketing, self-promoting attorneys, and biased legal advertising.
Gency.org is part of the 1000Attorneys.com legal network. We are certified by the California State Bar to provide the public with unbiased and impartial referrals to pre-screened California attorneys.
Our certification ensures that every referred attorney is experienced, insured, qualified, and committed to serving clients with integrity. It also protects the public by establishing minimum professional standards that each participating lawyer must meet, while supporting efforts to expand access to affordable legal services across California.
Each year, the California State Bar investigates more than 16,000 complaints of attorney misconduct—a reminder that not every lawyer upholds the standards clients deserve.
